What’s in Purely Local Soap?
Raw unpasteurised goats milk from Abberton near Mersea.
Cold pressed rapeseed from Colchester.
Gluten free oats from Cambridge.
Maldon honey from hives in and around Maldon.
This soap is very moisturising and, due to it’s high oat content, is good for treating the symptoms of psoriasis and eczema. The cold process method produces a soap that is full of glycerine which is a humectant. This mean it helps carry moisture into the skin so it becomes even more beneficial for dry skin conditions.
This soap contains no colours, the toffee colour is just the natural colour that soap goes when honey is added. None of my soaps contain any artificial foaming agents. So you get a soft gentle lather that cleans your hands and body without stripping the skin of its moisture.
Each soap is hand wrapped in handmade paper which is printed with an old fashioned map of the Maldon area. Makes a great local gift.
Local rapeseed oil (sodium rapeseedate), coconut oil (sodium cocoate), local raw and unpasteurised goat’s milk, local gluten free oats (avena sativa), local honey (mel), organic sweet orange oil (citrus aurantium dulcis).
