What is in Patchouli Rose Soap?
Apricot kernel oil: a mild oil, similar to almond oil which is light and easily absorbed by the skin. It is also anti ageing, anti septic and anti inflamatory.
Patchouli essential oil: earthy, grounding fragrance like a trip back to the 60’s minus the kaftan!
I also use nature identical, cosmetic grade rose fragrance oil in this soap. I use this for two reasons. Firstly, rose absolute does not smell like roses and people expect a rose product to smell like the roses in their garden. Rose absolute smells quite green and resiny.
Secondly, if I used rose absolute to fragrance the soaps each one would cost about £37! And that’s a bit too much!
This soap gets its coloured stripes from pink clay and activated charcoal powder so it’s even more softening on your skin.
