Nurturing body oil is the final layer in my 3 step complete moisture routine.
Anyone who has super dry skin will benefit from this. You can, of course, use it as a stand alone product just as a lovely body moisturising oil or you could use it alongside one of my body creams.
This gorgeous body oil is made from a blend of incredibly nourishing carrier oils and fragranced with beautiful essential oils selected because they are super effective on dry skin.
Which oils have I used in Nurturing Body Oil?
Coconut oil: deeply nourishing and sinks into skin a treat
Jojoba oil: mimics skins sebum so it's like putting your own moisture back on to your skin.
Apricot kernel oil: Light and non clogging but gives enough slip so you can massage the oil into dry skin patches before it sinks in thoroughly.
Pure vitamin E oil: legendarily nurturing for skin.
Which essential oils have I used?
Lavender oil: perfect for dry, parched skin it calms and soothes skin.
Geranium oil: Nourishes, calms redness and leaves skin smooth and supple.
Frankincense oil: great for bringing extra dry skin back from the brink of drought.
Sandalwood oil: calms, nourishes and soothes.
And that's before we even get onto how calming the fragrances is.
When you first apply the oil you can smell the lavender and geranium top notes, but once the oil warms up on your skin the frankincense middle note and sandalwood base notes come alive on your skin, lingering long after the first application.
It's a genuinely lovely oil and everyone should try it!
How do you get the best from Nurturing Body Oil?
Apply to warm skin after showering or bathing.
For seriously dry skin my 3 step nurturing method might be effective.
- Spritz some toner or super hydrating spritz onto your skin.
- Apply body cream (I suggest my cocoa butter and oat body cream)
- Once it's sunk into your skin completely finish with Nurturing Body Oil and allow to sink in.
Make sure you protect any clothing and bedding until the oil is thoroughly absorbed.
Your skin will hopefully respond really quickly to this 3 step method.
