I came up with this four legged friends sore paw and skin wax when I had to make something for my grandson Benson (who just happens to be a black labrador). Being a bit of a terror he’s always getting into scrapes and bumping himself.

The wax started out just for sore pads but I soon found that it’s also brilliant for any kind of sore skin too from scratches, flea allergies, dry skin and all sorts of doggy ailments.

But then, after a customers recommendation, I tried it on my cat when he had a flea allergy and wow! His skin improved beyond all recognition.  So instead of being exclusively a dog product it’s now aimed at dogs and cats, hence the name ‘four legged friends’.

Description

This amazing sore paw and skin wax is a 100% natural, vegan treatment which soothes cracked pads and calms sore paws with its blend of organic oils and butters.  Lavender essential oil has been added for its calming and soothing properties.

The wax can also be used on any sore or irritated skin that your pet has, whether it’s dry skin patches or where they’ve scratched themselves.

The wax is cooling and soothing and doesn’t make your pet immediately try to lick it off, which can be a problem with some treatments.

What’s in Four Legged Friends Sore Paws and Skin Wax?

Benson’s mum and I did some research to find the best oils and butters that would soothe and soften his pads and came up with this incredible blend.  After a few tweaks we had made this waxy balm that melts on contact and sinks in a treat.

Coconut oil is famed for its moisturising properties.
Calendula infused apricot kernel oil  sinks into the skin without leaving a greasy residue.  The calendula has extra soothing and antiseptic properties.
Olive oil softens the skin.
Organic jojoba helps to thicken the balm and helps it to stick to the skin or pad.
Organic cocoa butter is gorgeously soothing and calming.
Organic shea butter helps to reduce scarring and is very moisturising.
Candelila wax solidifies the product so it doesn’t run away in the heat.
Lavender essential oil is great for soothing burns, scars, cuts, scratches and anything a doggy pad is likely to come into contact with.

How to use Four Legged Friends Sore Paws and Skin Wax:

Apply to cracked sore paws and pads or scaly sore skin whenever needed.  If applying it to pads during the day do it sparingly to avoid your dog sliding around the floor and any potential oily footprint situations on the furniture or carpets.

It’s probably best to use it at night when your little darling is resting and not running around so it gets more of a chance to do its job and less chance to make a mess.

Quantative Ingredients Of Four Legged Friends Sore Paws and Skin Wax:

Coconut oil (cocos nucifera), calendula infused apricot kernel oil (prunus armeniaca), olive oil (olea europaea), organic jojoba oil (simmondsia chinensis), organic cocoa butter (theobroma cacao), organic shea butter (butrospermium parkii), candelila wax (euphorbia cerifera), lavender essential oil (lavandula angustifolia).

    This balm is incredible.

I have used it on my dog and it’s been great for healing cracked pads and for using on all sorts of cuts and scrapes but the other day I tried it on my cat….

My cat has a flea allergy and I have spent many hundreds of pounds on her over the last few months. She has nasty scabby lumps on her ears, belly, tail and under her chin. The steroid cream I got from the vets (£49) has to be applied whilst wearing gloves so what is it doing to her poor skin? And it wasn’t working.

I was at my wits end so I decided to try some benson balm. Oh boy I’m so glad I did! Yes it made her fur greasy but she didn’t lick it and…. it is working. It is getting rid of the scabs and the fur is beginning to grow back on her ears. The transformation is unbelievable. I am so grateful to you for making this product.

So you can now say it’s for dogs AND cats, in fact I think it would be suitable for all pets. And people!
    You are a miracle worker.
    God bless.

My free sample was a godsend, just at the right time, Charlie our Labrador had licked and licked where he had had a drip at the vet, the whole shaved area was a weeping mess. 4 days of rubbing in a little of your magic potion 3 times a day and all he has now is a tiny scab. I will be ordering this with my next order. Charlie sends his love and says thank you for making him better fast.

A review update. I have a foster Galgo, a Spanish dog, like a Greyhound ( I live in Spain) Carol ( she was found in December ) had dreadful scabs all over one of her back legs ( dragged along the ground beside a motor bike probably) and her stomach.
Carol’s skin was red and very dry when the scabs came off, I covered her wounds with the Sore Paw Wax using it twice a day for just 3 days. Then I used it once a day, the vet could not believe how fast her skin recovered and within 3 weeks all the hair had grown back. I wish I could show you her recovery photo here.
I even used it on my hand when I cut myself.
