Calendula and Orange Lip Balm is fantastically moisturising and nurturing for your lips. I make it from gorgeous organic butters and oils and then fragrance/flavour it with sweet orange essential oil which also gives it its delicate orangey colour.
Apply whenever needed. A little goes a very long way.
The 10g aluminium tins are light and practical to use, great to have in your bag, car, beside the bed, coat pocket (yes I have one in all these places as I’m so disorganised I can’t keep track of just one). They’re also brilliant for kids to keep in their school bag.
What’s in Calendula and Orange Lip Balm?
Calendula petals infused in sunflower oil: I use calendula that I’ve grown in my garden. I hand pick and dry the flowers before infusing them in organic sunflower oil for about two weeks so all the goodness from the calendula goes into the oil.
Sunflower oil is lovely and slippery and helps the lip balm slide on.
Jojoba wax and oil The oil mimics skins sebum, so it’s like putting your own moisture back on your skin. The wax thickens the product and turns it from an oil into a balm.
Fair trade cocoa butter is gorgeously moisturising and great for softening skin.
Fair trade shea butter: Again, a great moisturiser and helps to fade scarring.
Coconut oil is a wonder product that’s good for everything so a great addition to any beauty product.
Extra virgin olive oil gives the lips a bit of a sheen when the balm is applied.
The delicious orange flavour comes from organic sweet orange essential oil, which also gives it a delicate orangey colour.
sunflower oil infused with calendula petals (helianthus annus), jojoba wax (simmondsia chinensis), fair trade, unrefined cocoa butter (theobroma cacao), fair trade, unrefined shea butter (butyrospermium parkii), coconut oil (cocos nucifera), olive oil (olea europaea), jojoba oil (simmondsia chinensis), sweet orange essential oil (citrus aurantium dulcis).
