What’s in Aloe and Avocado Soap?
Aloe Vera: Soothing and cooling on the skin Aloe Vera is great for dry skin, helping with scarring and and redness.
Cold Pressed, Organic Avocado oil: this is unrefined avocado oil in its crude state which is rich in vitamins A, D and E as well as potassium and lecithin. The oil is a deep green colour as it has retained all its beneficial chlorophyll. Used for dry, mature skin or for people suffering from dry skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. Avocado oil is very useful when treating sun or climate damaged skin that is dehydrated or undernourished as it is said to help with regenerating and softening skin tissue.
Organic Gluten Free Ground Rice: It’s not just slightly scrubby, when wet the rice produces a milk which is anti-inflammatory and has anti ageing properties as it produces its own natural mild sunscreen (obviously no substitute for actual sun protection products)
Cedarwood and Bergamot essential oils: Both oils, as well as smelling gorgeous are great for dry skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis as well as being antiseptic and deodorising.
Why make Aloe and Avocado Soap?
I wanted to make a really pure and simple but slightly decadent and, of course, effective soap that was interesting to use and would appeal to both men and women alike. All of my soaps are totally unisex but I needed to balance the range out and this soap is perfect for just that!
