Do you have aches and pains?

I have a bad back.  A really bad back, as anyone who knows me will be aware of.  Some days I have trouble walking and am totally reliant on pain killers to get me through the day but other days I’m not too bad.  I’ve just started a course of pilates for back care to see if strengthening my core can alleviate any of my aches and pains and I have to say I’m responding well so far.

I’ve been so busy recently making soap and skincare, having developed my range over the last 5 years, that the fact that I’m an aromatherapist kind of gets pushed into the background.

A few weeks ago I decided to play around with my essential oils to see if I could find a definitive muscle ache blend.  I did loads of research in my books and lots of blending and sniffing and I’ve come up with a gorgeous blend of oils that all really help sore, aching muscles.  The oils work together to improve circulation, relieve pain and reduce inflammation, whilst clearing the head and aiding sleep.  It’s win win!

I’ve made 3 muscle ache products.  A massage oil, a balm and a fizzbubb.

The muscle ache oil and muscle ache balm contain no less than 15 different essential. Each oil has different properties which you can see below.  The oil or balm can be used for massage or just topical application so whichever works for your needs.

The massage oil and balm contain the following oils:

  • Blue Chamomile essential oil: Reduces pain and inflammation in joints.
  • Lavender essential oil: Pain relieving, particularly good for headaches and has sedative properties.
  • Sweet Marjoram essential oil: Has sedative and anti-inflammatory properties.  Good for stomach cramps.
  • Eucalyptus essential oil: Powerful pain reliever, particularly for sinus conditions.

The fizzbubb contains 9 essential oils all chosen for their relaxing, warming, comforting properties.  Simply crumble it under your running bath water and enjoy a bubbly, moisturising bath that relaxes, revives and restores.

The muscle ache fizzbubbs contain more warming oils and are listed as follows:

I’ve been a bit poorly this past week or so as I’ve been suffering from flu, a kidney infection and shingles and I now have post viral complications so I’ve been in a lot of pain and I’ve been really grateful for the muscle ache fizzbubbs as they’ve been brilliant for my aches and pains.  Now I’m back at work and have made the massage oil and balm I’m going to be using that loads too!
The oils in all these products all work together to relieve pain and help with bad backs, sore joints or even if you’ve just been a bit over enthusiastic at the gym.

As a special introductory offer to launch the massage oil and balm I’m giving away a gorgeous muscle ache fizzbubb (worth £3.50) to everyone who orders a massage oil or balm online.  This is a web only offer and will be running for the first week of the launch until midnight on 4rd April.  You don’t need to do anything just order as normal and I’ll add the fizzbubb to your order automatically.
